Gul-e-Lala
Child & Parent Program
Curriculum
Our Gul-e-Lala Parent & Child program encourages a respectful, gentle, and collaborative approach to parenting, offering adults a moment to relax and observe the growing child as they explore their world. Our Waldorf-trained teachers will take the lead in creating a calm environment for your child to engage in self-directed movement and play focused on the developmental stage of the unique child. This helps the child develop independence, imagination, and curiosity. A consistent rhythm is followed each week, allowing young children to feel comfortable in being part of the larger group.
Our classroom is designed to gently nurture your child’s senses with an emphasis on warmth and natural materials such as wood, silk, and wool. Activities include simple seasonal crafts and circle time with songs, movement games, and unstructured outdoor play where children and parents can explore the natural world around them. A healthy snack will be prepared and served in class. We aim to provide an inclusive, welcoming environment where parents can feel supported to share their stories and insightful information, ask questions, and be in community with each other. With this unique program, we invite parents to come and make friends, dabble in a craft, and enjoy singing and storytelling with their children.
